Round Robin format usually consists of 3 or 4 teams playing against each other on the same day in short, small sided 9 v 9 games played outdoors (September to December and March to May). The reason for this is by taking the competitive element out of the game it relieves the pressure from the children so they can develop, and enjoy playing the game within a more relaxed environment. Hopefully stamping out the 'win at all cost' mentalility.
