Round Robin format usually consist of 4 or 5 teams playing against each other on the same day in several short, small sided 5 v 5 games played outdoors (September to December and March to May). The reason for this is by removing the competitive element out of the game it takes the pressure off of the children so they can be developed, and enjoy playing the game in a more relaxed environment. Hopefully stamping out the 'win at all cost' mentalility.
