​Fremington 7 v Eastside 3, 16^th September 2012

 

 

There were a few candidates for man of the match in the game between Fremington U12 and Eastside U12 showing just how far both teams have come in their short existence. However the honours this time go to Cameron Smelt who scored 2 and had a fantastic game working tirelessly right up until the final whistle. The other scorers for Fremington were Harvey Rostock with a long range effort, Finlay Shapland with a deft touch over the oncoming goalkeeper and Jon Tossell with a fine hat-trick, one going straight in from a corner kick. The match was 3-2 to the home side at half time and was one of those games that looked like having plenty of goals in it for both sides but during the second half Fremington put some good passing movements together and managed to shut out Eastside at the back as well, coming out eventual victors 7-3. On the score sheet for Eastside were Toby Maxwell, Bradley Williams and Cameron Short.
