Holsworthy U12 3 Fremington U12 1  9th September 2012

 

The start of the season saw Fremington Youth FC under 12’s take the long trip to Holsworthy. Fremington showed great work rate and had the lion’s share of possession for the first 15 minutes but were unable to convert any of their many chances, unlike Holsworthy who went a goal up against the run of play. In the second half a battling, determined run by Bailey Harris resulted in an equaliser and he also went very close to scoring a second with a cheeky back heel attempt. Holsworthy made a couple of breaks using clever link up play and managed to score two more goals to leave the final score 3-1 to the home side despite some excellent saves from James Dearson and fearless defending from Ben Wells.
